24×40 Garage in Bensalem, PA

For this 24' x 40' x 10' pole barn, we used high-quality materials to ensure strength and longevity. The structure includes treated 4x6 posts, each set on a 5x16 precast concrete footer block and secured with an 80 lb bag of Sakrete for stability. We installed 2-ply 2x10 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) headers, upgrading to 2-ply 2x12 MSR headers over the 9' eave openings for added strength and support. The roof features pre-fabricated trusses with a 4/12 pitch, rated for 35-5-5 loading, and spaced 48" on center. It includes 12" overhangs on the eaves and gables, finished with vented metal soffit for proper airflow. The walls are framed with 2x4 purlins and girts, spaced 24" on center, and supported by a 2x8 treated skirtboard for extra stability. The exterior is clad with Everlast 28-gauge Lynx Series metal roofing and siding for a clean, long-lasting finish. A Therma-Guard R-9 vapor barrier on the roof helps with moisture control and insulation. For access, the barn includes three 9' x 9' ProDoor 4210 garage doors (R-6.8 insulated with a vinyl back) in white. Each door features a low-headroom track, a slide lock, and durable construction for reliable performance. A 3'0" x 6'8" six-panel solid fiberglass entry door provides secure and easy access. This combination of materials and design creates a strong, functional, and visually appealing structure.
